A designer based in Toronto, Jamie Wolfond's work explores the ways in which manufacturing can influence the design process. His work ranges from furniture, lighting, and everyday tools for consumer brands, spaces, and private clients.
He has crafted elegant and covetable everyday objects for global outfits such as Viva, EQ3, Sight Unseen and Ferm Living. After finishing his studies at the Rhode Island School of Design, he established Good Thing, a consumer brand of affordable well-designed products that was sold to American retailer West Elm in 2018.
In 2017, he was recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of its annual 30 Under 30 in the category of Art & Style. Wolfond has exhibited work at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, the Interior Design Show, the Salone del Mobile and, most recently, the 2020 edition of DesignTO.
